  13. rm -f /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules

  15. ## Remove both the UUID and MACADDR fields >>
  16. vim /etc/sysconfig/networking/devices/ifcfg-eth0

  18. ## reboot the server after applying the above changes.
  19. poweroff
